What is Dafatir?
Dafatir is Palestinian software for shops: a point of sale, accounting and a customer inbox on one database, so what is sold at the till reaches the books automatically. Dafatir is a brand of Tal3a E-Commerce Company in Ramallah.
Is Dafatir right for my shop?
Dafatir is built for small and medium retail and service businesses, from a single shop to several branches. Request a call and we will tell you honestly whether it fits yours.
Is the accounting connected to the POS?
Yes. The POS and the accounting share one database, and each sale posts to the ledger automatically within seconds, with no export file.
Does it support Palestinian VAT?
Yes. The rate is 16% by default and configurable; VAT is computed on sales and purchases, and the return is generated from the ledger.
Does it support shekel, dinar and dollar?
Yes — the shekel, the Jordanian dinar and the US dollar.
Does it support more than one branch?
Yes, with a central product catalogue and stock, staff and reports per branch.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The till keeps taking cash sales, and the data syncs when the connection returns.
How much does Dafatir cost?
A monthly subscription in shekels per product — you pay only for what you use, with no international credit card. Your shop’s quote comes on the first call.
Can I bring my data from another system?
We help you move over as part of setup, and agree on what to bring across on the first call.
What support do I get?
Human support in Arabic by phone and WhatsApp, from a team in the West Bank and Amman.
Where is my data kept?
In the cloud, with daily backups and encryption, and each business’s data isolated from every other’s.
